What’s Rekky?
Rekky is a social discovery app built around bite-sized recommendations from real people. Starting with books, Rekky helps you discover your next favorite thing through trusted, human-powered content, not irrelevant ads or AI generated noise.

How is Rekky different from other social media apps?
Unlike traditional platforms filled with ads, influencers, or AI content, Rekky is all about real people recommending real things they genuinely love. It’s focused, clutter-free, and made for authentic discovery across multiple product categories.

Is Rekky just for books?
We're starting with books, but Rekky will soon expand into other categories like wine, vinyl, movies, games, makeup, and more. Our goal is to build the go-to place for passionate recommendations across all kinds of products.

How do I share a recommendation
Just tap the "+ Add review" in the bottom navigation, add a short review (up to 400 characters), upload a photo, give it a score, and post! Others can discover it in the feed or explore by category (when available).

What’s the Wishlist feature?
Wishlist lets you save posts for later so you never lose track of the great stuff you want to check out. It’s coming soon, so stay tuned!

Are there any ads or AI-generated content?
Nope. Rekky is about people, not bots. There are no intrusive ads or irrelevant algorithm-driven noise, only honest, human recommendations.

Can I buy products directly through Rekky?
Yes! Many posts include purchase links, making it easy to go from discovering to owning. As we grow, we’ll continue improving this experience.
